Once Thistle Tours have confirmed your booking this means that a contract has been established between You (The Guest) and Thistle Tours.


  • Smoking – All tours are non-smoking

  • Payment – Bookings will be confirmed by Thistle Tours once full payment has been made. Payments can only be made by credit/debit card (for on-line bookings only)
  • Cancellations – Once booking is completed charges will be made if there are any cancellations, these are as follows:

1. If cancellations are requested 2 weeks (14 days) notice or more before departure, 80% of the initial fee will be repaid

2. If cancellations are requested within 2 weeks (14 days) before departure, 80% of the initial fee will be repaid providing that the ticket for the tour is resold; in the case of the ticket not being resold the guests will receive 40% of the fee

3. Thistle Tours reserve the right to cancel a tour at any time. In the event of this unlikely occurrence Thistle Tours will refund all money paid by guests in full 

  • Unforeseen Circumstances – Thistle Tours reserve the right to alter our itineraries at any time, due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. weather, road closures etc. We will endeavour to provide a service as close to the itinerary as possible in these circumstances. If a tour is unable to be completed for any reason, Thistle Tours will ensure that all passengers are returned to their point of departure and will repay money to the guests based upon the amount of the tour that was completed. These figures will be calculated based upon the time of day that the tour was aborted

  • Luggage – Luggage space is limited, excluding VIP tours; Thistle Tours cannot carry large luggage on board our day tours. We only have room for each person to bring onboard a day pack that can be stored under a seat. If the luggage does not fit in this manner it cannot be taken onboard. No refund will be given to a passenger unable to travel on the tour for this reason

  • Insurance – Thistle Tours do not provide travel insurance on our tours; we strongly recommend that you provide your own cover for medical expenses; personal accidents; baggage/luggage; loss of money, wallets, cards, valuables etc. before you travel

  • Minors – We regret that we cannot accept children under the age of 5 years old on our tours, excluding VIP tours, where any age is acceptable

  • Pets – We regret that pets are not allowed
